If you're the type of person who's working on a custom scenario for M00, you might be willing to change the game's sounds (that's why you downloaded this editor, no?). And you might even be interested in changing the class names in the editor to match the custom names in your scenario. Well, that's exactly what this program allows: instead of having to change the names in many places at once with ResEdit or Resorcerer, you can do it all in one step.
If you're not the type of person who's working on a custom scenario, you should. :)
Use & abuse
Using this program is terribly simple.
Open up the file names "~Class Names" in the same folder as the application and modify it to match your custom names. Be sure to leave the -1 at the end. Save it. Leave it in the same folder as the application and do not change its name.
Then run the "Install Class Names" application and select your Sound Editor application. Bingo! Your custom names will be installed everywhere.
If you want to keep a copy of the original names just in case, either backup your Sound Editor program or backup the "~Class Names" file before modifying it.
